Gynaecological services are provided on all three hospital sites, Amersham (outpatients only) Wycombe Hospital (outpatient and day surgery services), Stoke Mandeville (inpatient, day surgery and outpatient facilities). Outpatient clinics are also held at other local hospitals including:

Pharmacological and technological advancements have changed the management of many gynaecological conditions which have now resulted in a less radical treatment being required and so a shorter hospital stay ie investigative hysteroscopy is now performed as an outpatient rather than as a day case and hysterectomy is performed by keyhole surgery.
