Q. Do I need to be referred by my GP?
A. No - you can access the service directly.

Q. Does my GP have to be informed of my diagnosis or treatment?
A. Not unless you give permission.

Q. Is the service confidential?
A. Yes. You are allocated a unique number and all tests are carried out using that number rather than your name for complete confidentiality.
